The fast paced level of activity in today's media is a fabrication of the industry.  Whether the behavior of people is driven by the media or the media behavior is driven by the people, the end result is flashes of cognition not a continuity of presentation.

Three-second sound bites is all that politicians can convey. And the most memorable messages are the three magic word phrases: Vote for me; where’s the beef?; Stop the war. There are a million of other such PR utterances.

Pop culture music videos flash images so fast one only gets an impression of what was shown. That is acceptable for the purpose. When everything is the same choosing is an unnecessary activity. The buy is supposed to be instantaneous and reflexive.

Bidding on an NFT of a funky ape generative art figure is an example of the immediacy if the buy. Waiting a second might mean a sold out edition and one not ever getting the chance to buy. The people who offer such sales hype the imminent auction for days or weeks ahead of the sale to get as many prospective buyers logged in w for when the sale begins.

In generative art of 10,000 pieces one is as good as the others. Owning any of them is the goal. No need to study the traits and characteristics. Buy it now!

Photography is the antithesis of the flash presentation style. The camera and photographer stops time and motion. They make the ethereal tangible. They preserve moments, angles and light patterns.

The photos need to be studied and scrutinized. Getting people to stop long enough is the goal of perfecting the style, subject and presentation. Connoisseurs know to do that. Newbies just plow on through any list of pictures just as they are accustomed to doing.

On most presentation platforms their speedy ways are not an issue. On ClickaSnap it is an issue. Photographers receive a small payment when someone views the image for 5 seconds.

If they a powering through a large profile of pictures and nothing really catches their attention, that is one thing. If they don’t know there is a 5-second threshold then they need to be informed.

People dropping into ClickaSnap from web searches might not even know a payment is made for any views. Nearly 50% of all views come from non- subscribers who may know nothing about ClickaSnap policy.

Those people need to be educated in the platform’s policies and practices.

Other types of Internet platforms have their own revenue models. Youtube and TikTok content creators generate views sometimes running into the millions of views. The platform hosts the content, attaches advertisements and pushes it out to millions of online users. They don't do that because they are nice people. They do it because of the ad revenue dollars. They only push the content which gets the views. These sites are heavily algorithm driven.

The content creators are paid a small per view earnings which at 5 million views can be sizable. The sites are ubiquitous and are included on a lot of internet connected devices and embedded in other media.  You will probably know that Facebook pushed hundreds of Reels and Vids to every account.

Unfortunately, ClickaSnap is not in the position to do that same approach. Traffic is driven TO TikTok and Youtube content. People must GO to find ClickaSnap. Yes, these platforms meter how long a person stays with the content too. But in the many million view range per item, it all averages out.

ClickaSnap subscribers are currently left to create their own buzz and web traffic for themselves. My marketing is this blog at [Lens4anEye.com]. You are reading this on that site. Please also consider visiting my ClickaSnap.com/Lens4anEye full photographic collection.
